The Easiest Sangria. Ever.

It’s hot as hell in NYC right now. Ok, not 95 degrees hot, closer to the high 70s/80s, but the humid factor is too high for my liking. Therefore, cold drinks are frequently necessary. I had company coming over and thought, hmm.. sangria sounds good. Let me see what I have that I can throw together — and low and behold, it worked. And the bubbly, fruity bev was oh so refreshing.

Why is it so easy you ask? There’s not really a recipe to follow – it’s a group of ingredients and you just take what you have that looks similar. For example, I used Sauvignon Blanc. You have Pinot Grigio? Use it. I used white grape juice (yes, from a kids juice box – does it really matter?) But, you only have apple juice? Use it. I used thinly sliced lemons and limes, and mixed frozen berries. You only have fresh raspberries, cherries, and an orange? Use it. (Of course, the plus of frozen berries is that it’ll chill down your drink.) I also did add a few squirts of vanilla agave syrup for a lil’ sweetness.
